Acacia was founded in 2023 by Louise Eden and Ian Roberts, who share a passion for helping businesses to achieve sustainable growth, by incorporating sustainability into their everyday thinking. We believe that all business can be purpose led, and that solving common business challenges provides the perfect opportunity to make incremental changes that bring sustainability into the very heart of your business, whilst achieving your own individual goals.

Ian Roberts

Ian has developed his experience over 30 years within the financial services industry, holding a broad scope of senior roles in various countries, and held board directorships on a number of regulated companies. He has a particular focus on client service delivery, corporate governance, strategic direction and culture/people management. Most recently Ian was responsible for the sustainability strategy for the Jersey business of a global financial services firm. He was a member of the Jersey Finance Sustainable Development Steering Committee.

His professional qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration, Masters in Economics, as well as the Certificate in Sustainable Business Management through the University of Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership, and the Certificate in Climate Risk from the CBI. He is also certified by the Carbon Literacy Trust as a Carbon Literacy facilitator.

Louise Eden

Louise has over 20 years professional experience in the financial services industry, originally within client facing roles. Prior to leaving finance, Louise was responsible for managing the local sustainability strategy of a large corporate services business. Most recently she has been working with a diverse range of clients, to develop their sustainability strategy, and assist them to bring that to life. Her particular skills lie within sustainable marketing, communication and education.


Louise's professional qualifications include Sustainable Marketing, Media and Creative with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership,  the IEMA Certificate of Environmental Management, CIOB Sustainable Construction, as well as the CISI Investment Administration Qualification and Investment Advice Certificate Part 1. She is certified by the Carbon Literacy Trust. 

She is a highly experienced and effective communicator, both written and in person, across multiple media types, and has a particular interest in how marketing can drive sustainable growth.
